Tangled Roots: Families of Tudor Place (November 25 – November 30) – Tudor Place

Tips for this venue:

Tudor House is a Federal-style (late 18th Century) mansion that is open to the public and free (with a $10 suggested donation per person). The mansion is just above the main strip in Georgetown, about 6 blocks up Wisconsin Ave. from M Street. You can usually find ample (free) street parking for up to two hours, Monday - Saturday, though weekend parking is harder past noon.

The gardens at Tudor Place are fantastic I love the secret gardens around the house. There are many places to hide with a book or watch a fountain.

If you'd like to tour the house, you should make reservations in advance. I went recently on a Saturday and the morning tours were completely booked.
